About Laurie Gries

Laurie Gries is currently an assistant professor at the University of Colorado–Boulder in the Department of Communication and Program of Rhetoric and Culture. Her first book, Still Life With Rhetoric, won the 2016 CCCC Advancement of Knowledge Award. Gries has also published numerous articles and chapters relating to new media, visualization, and rhetoric broadly.
