• RailroadThe Milwaukee Road and the Northern Pacific Railroads came through the town in the 1880s.
• MCSGMiles City Sand and Gravel, the Yard. The black spot is Hider, the yard dog.
• Sioux VillageMouth of the Tongue River, near where the tribe was camped when Black Elk performed his vision.
