MAP VIEW of the overall structure

The nine main directories contain both text and other directories that contain text spaces. The reader can navigate through the hypertext by clicking on spaces from any Map View, then shifting to a text view to read each node.

The NAVIGATOR space allows readers to select and follow or return to a particular character, place, artifact, time sequence, or note. There are numerous links to the NAVIGATOR space throughout the hypertext.

Note 054, in the directory "freedom/fear_o'writing," links sound track suggestions back to other scenes in the hypertext. In a full-blown version (e.g., on a CD), I would like to include actual sound tracks with these links.

Note 094, in the directory "meat/death," is a map of pork cuts linked to references in the text to Rosellini's 1737 Mechanical Pig
